Ladies-I need your brilliant ideas- or please post pics of your low cp's

So I am back to picking out cp's, I cannot make up my mind! The room just does not look nice with tall cp's, but I am not a fan of low bowls of flowers, and just have no idea what to do. We really have no theme, we ar going for 'simple elegance', but we have to incorporate the yankees, or baseball in somewhere. We already have baseball favors, and table numbers..so please HELP any and all ideas are appreciated!

Can you do anything with candles instead of flowers? The candles could be in team colors maybe, or themed somehow, like on a 'base' instead of in a hurricane.
