Getting married at Oceanside Jewish Center..Seriously Need Help Deciding Photography, Florist, Video and Hair!

I know that's a lot, but I do not have any girlfriends getting married, so I'm looking for some help from you ladies. I live in Great Neck, my mom's from Seaford, and I'm getting married in Oceanside Jewish Center. So, I guess I would like the vendors to be in this vicinity. Like everyone else, I'm looking for the best quality and value. I'm booking Hot Pursuit as my band, and everything else seems up in the air. If you have any suggestions, please let me know.

Congrats! For photo/video I used lavendar bridal studio, they are now a vendor on here, and we just picked up our proofs and video, and it was great!

I believe that the florist has to be one of OJC's house florists. I got married at East Meadow Jewish Center, also President Caterers. We used Colonial Florist, who was a house florist at the time, and were very happy with them. They are in Bellmore. We dealt with Claudio.

I was just at OJC today for a craft fair, and I was at a wedding there last year. It's beautiful and President caterers are absolutely wonderful - congrats!

Congrats on booking OJC! I have been to many weddings there and all have been wonderful! I am actually getting married at Temple Chaverim which is also part of President Caterers. I am not using the house florist, I am using Pedestals. As for photography I am using a NYC photographer called Click Photo Company. You can check out their work at www.clickphotoco.com
I too am still looking for a good hair person and will keep you posted as I continue my search!

Jackie! OMG, I know you from USY! It's Ellen Lazarus. I don't know if you remember me. I was in the Wantagh chapter. You got married at East Meadow.. that's awesome. How was Colonial? Why do we have to use the house florist? Did you have to use house people for other things? I haven't so far. But, I'm looking for a photographer. I didn't care for Visual Image.

We found Click through a friend who used them....feel free to FM me for details. FYI - we did not like the house photographer either!

I got married at Temple Chaverim (President Caterers). I did not care for Visual Image either. We used Laurie Studios, in Centereach. I'm not sure if that is too far for you.

I'm from the RVC/Oceanside area and Salon and Spa Osio is great - on Lawson Blvd in Oceanside. Many of the girls there are good esp Jeananne, Sonia...i forget all the girls names but they are all good! Make up girl is good too!

I got married at EJMC-same caterers..I used Lady Kat for Photo..she was awesome. I used Atlantic Floral as well...my flowers were gorgeous.

great florist that is local to Oceanside Jewish Center is Blossom Heath on Long beach rd in Oceanside. It is a flower shop that has been there forever and they do beautiful arrangments and are not expensive..... hair place you can go to hair expo in oceanside in the Sands shopping center or brittney and co in franklin square. as of the photographer Camelot studios . they are a vendor. You will be very happy with OJC they do a beautiful affair and the food is fantastic.
