Job first...house second!

Found a great house we love...nice little ranch in our neighborhood. Couldn't figure out why it wasn't selling until we saw the price tag... $719,000!

Re: NWR: Next big 'project' after wedding!!!

YEah thats what i hear. Prices are dropping because people are no longer getting the ridiculous prices that they were asking for.

we were looking into buying something but figured we would wait until prices went dowqn and we could buy something we want instead of something we can afford.

I was like the house I fell in love with - 4 bedrooms - 1.8Million- but it was on the canal in lido beach- it's worth about $1.M- not close to 2- I was laughting

I was like...hum I wonder why it's for sale by owner- ah! no real estate agent would list it at that price!

Re: NWR: Next big 'project' after wedding!!!

We should already be in our new house - so probably some interior design and finding the perfect furniture

Also going to start looking for a more 'fulfilling' positions. Plus helping a bunch of my BMs who will be planning 07 weddings!

OMG!!!

This is the reason why we're seriously thinking of moving upstate, westchester, orange, etc. It's less expensive but then you add traveling time, MetroNorth, etc. It comes out to about the same!!!

We wanted to buy in Long Beach!!! A condo, at first.
But we want to have kids right away, and my parents run a day care center, so passing up on free day care would not be wise...
