dumb question... wedding band related

I just read someone's post that made it seem like you and FH aren't ring shopping together for this... is that how it's supposed to be done?? did i ruin a tradition by going looking with him last weekend??

I think most people look for the wedding bands together, it's not a surprise like the engagement ring. A lot of people get matching bands too, so they would have to pick it together.

we went both together and on our own. Our work hours don't always match up, and he is in the city all week.
