first photography meeting last night....

first photography meeting last night....

So I met with a photographer last night, first one I've seen... good pics, nice place, nice guy.... They didn't do 'preset' packages, cause everyones needs are different... good right? A pretty basic package he gave me a quote of $5250

Luckily I'm used to getting quotes WAY out of my price range, so i'm able to keep my shock on the inside while maintaining my composure.

Which leads me to a poll.... whats everyone paying/figuring on paying for their photography?

I am hoping to spend between 4500 and 5500. I'd love 5,000. But we'll see.

we are spending 5900 for both video and photography.. we did our homework and saw like 10 different places and this is the cheapest that included everything we wanted... some places told us over 6k just for pictures.. its really not worth it when you can get the same beautiful pictures for so much cheaper

around 5k for photo and around 5k for video

fh and i decieded we wanted 2 seperate people.. we wanted professionals in each field.. we picked fine arts for photo they are amazing w/ an awsome package which is also tailored to your needs.. we have 5 grandparetns and 4 parents to get stuff for so thats y our is a lil big .. our video guy tIm from treasured memories teaches videography to people.. he has won many awards and is repuatable..we got a short video b/c thats what we wanted.. extra shoots.. the whole 9 yards.. he just recently did our engagment party(he stayed the whole 4 hours).. which was an extra shoot $500 additional he is making us a seperate video for that, and will include some footage into our wedding video like we wanted
