Shoes are too big
Ok so I have these great shoes which I was so excited about, I paid a lot of money for them and I do LOVE them. The box says they are a size 9 and I never bothered to look at the bottom of the shoe until AFTER I dyed them from white to off white. They smell from dye - which will go away after they air out but that doesnt bother me. I dont know why I didnt look at the shoes before I dyed them - must have had some sort of lapse in judgement. Well anyway, I cant return them now and I do want to wear them.Has anyone ever made big shoes smaller by inserting pads or anything else? I dont wanna stuff the toes. Any suggestions would help.

Re: Shoes are too big
How big are they? I once got a pair of shoes that I just HAD to have but they were 1/2 size too big, I got Dr. Scholls inserts that worked.

You can add a heel pad to fill the gap in the back and a thick comfort pad on the foot.

Re: Shoes are too big
They are a half size too big. I would feel way too low and stupid if I tried to return them after dying them! I want to use them!I feel like such a bonehead!

Re: Shoes are too big
I worked in a shoe store and people put inserts into shoes 1/2 size smaller all the time. Since you don't want to return them try it!! Try both half inserts in the toe and the heel pads- one at a time and don't stick any of them to the shoe until you are sure. 1/2 a size isn't too bad at all.Welcome New Vendors
