news, updates, and other things (and now with some bunny pictures for blu-ize)

So, had a crazy weekend... among other things, we gave Flowerfield a down payment, so now they just have to send up a contract, which is very cool

Today was my birthday. Got lots of sweet loot, and went to Flowerfield, but had an okay day otherwise. I think maybe I just didn't get enough sleep last night. And my FH and I had a little mini fight, which was kind of unpleasant. When we were at Flowerfield my parents said something about how they wanted to do the ceremony that caught him off guard, and when he brought it up later when it was just the two of us, instead of bringing it up conversationally, he came on kind of strong with the way he said it, which upset me.
He eventually realized he'd been rude though, and apologized, so all is well, but I was pretty tired because I hadn't gotten to bed until about 5am, so I just felt kind of blah for the rest of the day.

It's ok though. It was a nice relaxing day.

Oh, and my other piece of news is that I may not be able to come to the get together after all, because my parents want us all to fly down to Florida that weekend to see my grandparents, and I just can't argue with that - my grandpa is sick, so we need to spend as much time with him as possible.

So, that was my weekend. Some blah, but also lots of good. And there's always tomorrow. And my birthday celebration isn't over, because I have some out of town friends coming to stay around New Year's, and we're going to re-celebrate then, which I'm really looking forward to.

I know fights are normal... we have stupid fights like that all the time... it just always stinks, no matter how normal it is

thank you for your prayers... He has Lou Gherig's disease... but so far no major changes since Thanksgiving, which is good.

Aw, thanks! I purposefully picked out a couple of funny ones for you

Can't wait to see some kitty pictures! I have a few of those too... this house is like a petting zoo.
