11/6 Giorgios review

All I can say is WOW! It seriously FLEW by. I was almost depressed afterwards. It amazes me how much you do and dont stop!

My #1 reccomendation: Get a VIDEO!!!!!!

We had it by the time we got back from our honeymoon, and got to see so much that we didnt notice then

St John the Evangelist RC Church-10

Frank was our coordinator. He did a GREAT job. The church looked beautiful and we couldnt be happier!

They were AMAZING! so great to work with, food was to die for ( so i heard - like i had time to eat ) Jamie was our Maitre'd and Irene was my bridal attendant. Well, that girl i think is now an official seamstress! The amount of times she fixed my bustle that people stepped on . Well, they both were amazing! Jamie saw i was starving ( considering i had 2 memosas and a glass of champage all day) and brought s a platter from the coctail hour- needless to say our GM ate it all as i was getting a pic taken with my family But they were on top of the ball and everything looked beautiful!

We had Rich, Joe, & Timmy. They went above and beyond! To the mints and fluffing my dress to the casual conversation and funny stories on the ride to the airport. We LOVE, LOVE, LOVE them and suggest them in a heart beat! GREAT JOB BOYS!!


Cathy's Bridal 10

OK, so my cousin ran the store. But she did an AMAZING job! I was looking elsewhere also to keep my options open, but she called me in one day and i fell in love with an Impression gown. The shop was closing in December 2004, so we all worked to get things selected and ordered and got them for an amazing price! She also threw in for free, my headpeice, veil, and the JBM tiaras Thanks Cindi!


Donna Vedone - Seamstress 9

Donna was reccomended by a neighbor. She did a great job and even did 2 bridesmaids as last minute. She was able to get one of my BM from a 14 to a 4. ( a BM dropped out who was a size 14 and my friend, a size 4 filled in) i gave her a 9 because my straps kept falling off adn drove me nuts My bustle kept snapping, but that was my fault. I asked her to have it drag a little and since i wore slippers all night, it REALLY dragged..oh well


Bakers Shoes -5

They only get a 5 because i got them on sale for $20 but they hurt like %$&@!!!!!!!!


Totes- Isotoner Slippers- 10

someone at work gave me as a gift 2 days before, isotoner slippers. they were HEAVEN! I sent DH that night to go get them for all my BM. Only $10 at Riverhead and Bellport outlets and were SO SO SO comfy! Most of us wore them all night!


Jewlery - 10

I got my BM necklaces from neesiepie who got them from Tri-County. They were only $25 and i got SO many compliments on them! I got my jewlery from Atias Flea Market in Sayville.

Tony and his daughter Danielle did a GREAT job! They were there before me and got a bunch of pics in. The proofs came in an awesome album, that everyone thinks IS my wedding album. The pictures all came out very clear and i can honestly say i love them all! ( i am usually SO unphotogenic!) Proofs were ready within 2 weeks and thanks yous about 10 days later. Very quick and effficiant

ADA also did our video, Mike Russo was the camera guy adn was great! I never remember seeing cameras all over, but they were there. Our video was done by the time we were home from our honeymoon, so we got to watch it theat next night


Cutting CLub & Day Spa-10

Suzie & Debbie did our hair. We all got tehre in the morning and lined up in the chairs and all got done. Suzie did mine. She did EXACTLY as i had wantd and it stayed beautiful and curly all night long!!!! We went over a little and i was late to get home ( Other BM and ADA were there waiting already) but it was worth it, we all looked beautiful!

Dawn works for Mary Kay and does this on the side. She does FREE trials and $40 day of. She was SO GREAT! Not only did she give ME samples, but she also gave them to all my other girls, even my grandmother , whos makeup she DIDNT do! She brought her the colors she thought would look good on her and gave them to my sis to do for her! She also put foundation on a BM who wasnt getting her makeup done either. She met us at the salon and was jsut so sweet!

Regardless of all the drama i have heard, they stepped up to the plate. The gave us extra flowers at teh church and reception. It all looked beautiful andi couldnt be happier with my flowers! My only complaint is that the day after 'Shame on you' aired, i went down there to make our final payment and there were 'CLOSED' signs all over and no one would let me in. Jack was outside when we pulled up, but then left and the cleaning lady came out and said no one was there and they didnt open til 11:30 and were closed for renovations. Well, i banged on the door til they let me in, and Patty pulled up and let us in. NO RENOVATIONS going on, but Jack and came out and they were both very pleasant.
Patty was great during our design session and Jack was always a pleausre to work with. They did great!

Invites -10

My mom and I made them, bravo to us!! They were a LOT of work, we cut, ripped, stampled, glued, embossed, colored, and punched EACH adn every detail on the cards


Favors -10

my aunt, mom, and I HAND MADE our favors. We bought albums on sale at Michaels for $.50 each and then we picked flowers from my aunts garden adn driand pressed them in phone books. About a month later, we decoupaged them onto the albums and added a little bow


Rolling Pin Bakery - 10

Rolling Pin were a Giorgios vendor. We worked with Dave via email. I wasnt in love with any of their selections online, so i emailed him what i wanted and they did it. My cake was BEAUTIFUL and SO YUMMY!

Andre did our e-party and did an AMAZING job! We of course booked him for our wedding. I have to say, i wasnt TOO pleased 100%. There was a lot of 'line' dances and group dances that i didnt ask for that really looked like his show more than everyone just dancing and having fun. He only played 1 slow song and really focused on dances with just the BP. So YES, i was annoyed, very much so, but i am over it. Our guest still had an amazing time.= and a lot of them talk about those dances, that they were cute. But in my video, they focused on these stupid things and you see our guests just standing around in a circle staring and clapping, i felt bad, Also i didnt hear much Italian music plated, well at all...i LOVE sinatra and dean martin, and asked for it, and didnt hear any of them But again, it all flies by, so i might have just missed it.

LIW - 1000

how could i NOT have mentioned LIW! I was scared when i first came on here in 2003 b/c the 05 board was not moving much, jsut a few regulars who all seemed to be such great friends, so i didnt want to intrude, so i stayed on BHB for a while and then said, hey Im an 05er and LOVED you girls! You have all helped in the planning an been such a great inspiration and friend. When you need to vent or lose it, you girls were there and when you had a celebration you girls were there! Through the losing weight and gaining weight and everything i went through thank you SO MUCH LIW and Ron & liz for putting this amazing sight together!!!!

I only wish i had made it to the GTG to meet all you beautiful brides!!!!
