long term stay for OOT guests?

FH's family is coming in from australia for the wedding and would like to stay for 3-4 weeks or so. where can i look for ideas for them to stay? they dont want a hilton or something expensive like that, b/c they are paying so much to fly in, but something like an apartment or so.

anyone have any ideas?

Fox Hollow offers suites for long term rental. I don't know any details but I remember them telling us when we booked for our OOTers

I once stayed at the Residence Inn, Plainview. It was very comfortable and clean, and I believe they have long term rates.

residence inn has long term rates so does extendedstayamerica it is in huntington/melville area - they are alot cheaper than residence inn - i use to stay at that chain when i was travelling for the agency - super clean and extra cheap

Extended Stay is also in Bethpage.

is the extended stay clean? i have heard of residence inn, but i know that it can be expensive sometimes. i will have to take a look at that extended stay.

The Extended Stay suites are very clean (was in one once when a friend was staying in one) and very nice.

I will say the beds are not the most comfortable, but for the price, it really can't be beat. I know they have weekly rates available.

There's also an Extended Stay Suites in Whitestone near the bridge.
