Re: Girls having tea length BMs dresses
I am having red tea length dresses. I don't really care if they all the same shoes. I will probably just tell them to pick out any shoe that can be dyed to match the dress. However, I do want them all to have open toe dressy sandals.

Re: Girls having tea length BMs dresses
I'll tell you that originally I wanted all the shoes to match, but unfortunately with 9 girls, who needed flats, who wanted open toe, who needed stiletto heels
I ended up letting them get their own with the only criteria being that they had to be open toed - in the end, it really doesn't make a difference

Re: Girls having tea length BMs dresses
I gave my girls the choice of dyed to match, or silver strappy sandles. They all chose silver strappy sandles. They live in 3 different states, so they won't match - except for color, which is A-OK with me.

Re: Girls having tea length BMs dresses
With short skirts, if you want the BM to match, then yes same shoes. If you wanted to do something different then go with different shoes. I've seen BMs wear the same dress but just different colors, or same color just a different dress.

Re: Girls having tea length BMs dresses
I have a similar deal - my BM's live in different states and 1 lives in another country. I don't want dyable shoes, but I also don't want them to have to pay more money for shoes. It is already really expensive for them (i.e. flying in several times, paying for hotel, bach party, etc). The dress is an antique pink with a cream trimming - since it is a summer wedding I thought strappy tan shoes would be ok. The only thing is that there are so many shades of tan.
I am sure no one but me will really notice the shoes, right?

That's what I did, silver sandals...I loved the different shoes they got.

Re: Girls having tea length BMs dresses
My BM dresses are black tea length so I just told them to get dressy black sandals so they can all wear them again. I did specify that I didn't want them to have a closed shoe or a very low heel.

Re: Girls having tea length BMs dresses
I have been in 2 bridal parties with tea length dresses. ONe, we all wore the same shoes (it was hellish shopping with 5 girls, finally agreed upon $80 shoes and 2 were still not happy!!) besides the fact that no one even wanted to spend that much on chocolate dress shoes!and the other we wore same color. We had heights rangin from 5' to 5'8, some wanted high heels and others did not. So it worked out perfectly.
My girls are going to wear tea length, and I am leaning towards silver shoes. instead of dyeables. BUt def letting them chose their own shoes. No one notices the BM shoes and it is not worht all the bickering.

My BM's are wearing tea length dresses, but my MOH's will be wearing long. Either way they all agreed on wearing the same exact shoe, and color

Re: Girls having tea length BMs dresses
i was open to them all getting their own BLACK MATERIAL shoes....to go with their black dresses..but they actually thought it would look better if they all wore the same...we went shopping (the dress shopping took 2 minutes..they all saw a dress immediately and loved it) the SHOE shopping took HOURS...and noone could agree. i wound up finding nice shoes that everone liked and i got a good sale on!!!i think i will prob buy them all black flip flops for the wedding if the shoes get uncomfy!
