Wedding Insurance

So people actually do this? Will you do it?

I'm not. I don't really think it's worth it. But I'm having a relatively small budget wedding [about 20K, that's small for LI standards]. Mostly the insurance coverage is for things like bad weather or if someone backs out of the wedding, or a special reason postponement (illness, death in the family, etc.)...and it will cover the monies you paid. but i'm just gonna be old fashioned and cross my fingers and hope for the best!

At first I was anti wedding insurance...now I'm considering it. We'll see. I think you can purchase it up to a week in advance or something. I'm worried about the weather in March and a whole bunch of OOTers.

i never thought of that...thats something i would want do but our budget is small so i may not need it
