Got my thank you cards today.... Updated!

HATE THEM!!!!!!!!!

I dont understand why they would crop the photo when I specifically picked a certain photo because of the way it looked. Don't take it upon yourself to crop it, not even send me a proof of it, and then order them for me. Im sooo pissed right now. I HATE THEMMMMM AND I WANT TO THROW THEM INTO THE GARBAGE!!!!!!!!!!!

Whatever.... Im sure I will HATE my album and my video too when I get them. Hmmm I wonder if I will even get a proof of the album layout or maybe they will just order it without me approving that too....

I'm sorry you hate them!

I feel your pain because I hate my pictures so much, we hardly have any we can even choose from for a thank you.

Can you work the photographer to order ones that you can approve first? They should really redo them at no cost to you.

Dh and my mom both said that they probably cropped it because it would of been really small on the card (like we would of been far away)... but at least show me a proof of it.. dont just go and order them. I hate to be a pest about it though and I dont even want to contact them about it. I kinda wish I ordered the ones with the small wallet sized pics inside the card instead of the card with the full photo on the front. Im sooo mad.

They should show you what they are giving you before they print anything--my photographer does & if I was you I would tell them you want the picture the way you want it & it isn't your fault they didn't ask you first.

Im sorry Diana! I too was so upset when i got mine, i cried! But then i just took a few deep breaths and i realized they werent bad.
You looked SO AMAZINGLY BEAUTIFUL on your wedding day adn that radiance will show in your album!!! I promise!
I would definately ask them to redo the thankyous if you are upset. They will understand and shouldnt give you a hard time!

Duet emailed me back today. They feel terrible about the mix up and are going to fix them for me!! YAYYYYYYYYYYYYYY

They said I can keep the cards that DH picked up already since it was their mistake. I am going to have them redo them but I am not going to have the note cards, instead I am getting the traditional thank you cards with the wallet sized photo to go inside it.

Thankfully it's being worked out...they should have had you approve the sample and sign off...their mistake and thankfully they realize it! Good call!
