NWR need creative help re: New Baby

My nephew was born last night and I wanted to put together a book for him of things going on on his birthday. I was thinking newspaper headlines, prices of normal things such as gas, milk, a new car. Anyone have any others ideas on what I can add? Thanks

How about an old quater and nickel (ya know before they changed 'em) pictures of your family when he was born. Maybe some of your favorite things at the time so when he grows up and asks you will remember and be able to answer. I know that I did something like that for my son and some of the things I forgot what they were or where they were from lol. But that's me I have severe 'SOMETIMERS'

what i cute idea!! i also like the idea of putting things you or his parents like right now- favorite TV shows, favorite books, favorite movies, maybe favorite toys growing up....

What a fantastic idea. I think putting current pics of family is good and the movie schedule & top music too. I definitely think the newspaper headlines is fantastic. Good luck with your project and congrats on the new nephew!!!

When my son was born, I ordered a keepsake for him that includes all about the year he was born.For instance 'Best Of The Year'
Childrens TV:
Childrens Video:
Childrens Book:
Top Dog:
Best Movie:
Best Actor:
Best Actress:
TV Shows:
Top Record:
Super Bowl:

Costs of common items such as:
A New Home:
4 Years of Private college in the year the child would be going.
Avereage cost of a ticket to the movies.
A gallon of gasoline
First Class postage stamp

Theres also the top news stories and fun and fashion(thats what kids are wearing now, and the coolest toys etc.), top news stories, who shares his or her birthday, Famous events on the birthday, news headlines, what the childs name means, and the childs astrological sign. Hope this gives you enough ideas. I love all this kinda stuff. Good luck, and have fun!!!!
