Oh let's just say we're really looking forward to next year. This was by far our worst Christmas ever...but at least we're together and healthy. Bring on 06!

DH's gifts were a little lacking, but it was a good first Chanukah as husband and wife!

I have to admit that this was the best Christmas I've had in a very long time!!!
Usually, I'm the bearer of the best gifts, but this year, DH and my mom gave me some great items.

Ours was absolutely wonderful. DH got me an Uggs boot, pocket book from banana republic, and a coat.

Mine was great! I love the wife card, and BIL even got us a brother and his wife one that nearly made me cry!

It was a great Christmas for us. Quiet overall, we spent some time with my family, and some time with his family. It was nice to get cards for both of us, and ornaments for our first Christmas. It all seemed much more special than usual.

So special and nice!I loved the cards to daughter in law too - and it was odd writing my first cards to 'mom' and 'dad'.

I loved it!! It was so cool getting card for My Husband!! He doesn't do cards - so the only one I got was from my Mom to 'My Daughter and Son-In-Law' - it was the coolest feeling!

Re: How was everyones 1st Mr.And Mrs.Christmas, etc.
It was great. I loved receiving my first wife card and DH wrote a beautiful poem in it (he always writes amazing things in my cards).
Since DH is very picky and doesn't really care about being surprised, he usually gives me a long list of things he wants and I pick things from there. I finally decided to surprise him with his gift this year and he really liked it. I was so glad he was happy with the gift.Christmas Eve was great b/c my parents and brother spent it with us at DH's grandmother's house. I missed our family Chanukah party, but I'm glad I got to see my parents this weekend. DH and I celebrated Christmas day with DH's father's side of the family. It was nice except they lost heat in the morning (which was later restored) and the town lost power for several hours (luckily we had just finished eating). Other than that and the horrible rain storm we drove back through on our way home, everything was good.
