Do you know when your bridal shower is?

I told my Mom and my sister (my MOH) that I would prefer to know so that I can assist them with the planning and the guest list. My little sister is graduating from College in May and will be so busy in the next few months and I don't want her to have to go crazy with this too. My Mom said she prefers if it's a surprise but I don't mind. Anyone else doing this? Or do you prefer the surprise?

They're trying to surprise me, although it is a family joke that everytime a bridal shower has been planned, someone always spills the beans that week.

Since I have a wedding on Feb 18th and I'll be gone the weekend of March 25th, I'm guessing they will either do it in mid March or the weekend of April Fools.

Personally, I would prefer to know when it is. I too would like to help out however I could. My MOH has her own wedding plans and my sisters are both in college (one is graduating in May as well). And two bridesmaids are OOT, and another one is pregnant! Thats a lot going on

But if it's important to them that I not know... so be it!

I told them it doesn't have to be a surprise either, I know it will be in April, b/c brother and SIL have to come up for the shower and will be around Passover so it will be the same time!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have a feeling, but no clue really, I know my mom wants it to be a surpised and I am fine with it, less planning for me and my mother and my MOH are soooo wonderful with these things, not worried at all...

No clue??? My sister has said they just wanted to wait till after the holidays. I better finish my registry?? They are going to suprise me.

i prefer it to be a surprise!!! however, i can't imagine how they are going to get me there without giving it away. plus i know i will be checking my registry like a crazy lady, so that might give it away as well. i think they will prob do it in may or june...my brother's fi shower is coming up soon, and then their wedding is in april, i graduate in may...busy times. ~lacey

I know exactly when mine is...my mother and sister hate surprises and I think they assumed I do, too. That's not actually the case, but my heart's not broken over it. At least I won't be in danger of going out the night before and being too hung over or something - avoiding that scenario is almost worth the knowing!

I prefer not to know, and most of my family realizes I like surprises. I am hoping that when it gets planned they don't spill the beans.

Mine is february 4th. I work weekends and all my BMs are from OOT. We had to coordinate.

My shower WAS Nov 13. They had to have it early since people came in from Florida and they did not want people driving in bad weather. So I had it really early. I plan on having a girls night out when FH has his BP.
