Goodbye to the 2004 board!

Like I've said before,

It seems like just yesterday that I was in line at Macy's to buy something and the hideous woman infront of me said 'two thousand and FOUR??? Why even bother planning a wedding that won't happen for another 2 years'

boy does time fly!

to the remaining 2004 girls and I'll see you on the other side!

Wow, this is so sad!!

Even though I don't frequent LIWs much anymore, just seeing that the '04 board is going to be archived makes me a little sad and melancholy ..BUT yet, it IS time to move on and let the '05 newlyweds and future brides have their time to shine

I loved every bit of my time on this forum.. LIWs will always have a special place in my heart!! The '04 girls mostly chatted on BHB really.. outside of 'month' threads over on this board (such as 'Sept. 04 brides threads' or 'Greek brides', etc), we never really utilized the 'year' boards the way the '05 and '06 girls do. But yet we also bonded in a very special way nonetheless. I made some of my closest friends during the wedding planning process(not to mention all the awesome friends I met over on NWR on those days when I couldn't bear to talk 'weddings' anymore

)

This website helped me so much and I wound up with the wedding of my dreams.. it was a wonderful resource to me, being an 'out of towner' and all

And the best fringe benefit was getting to know my 'girls' and chat on here and become real life friends. It meant so much to me during this special time in my life, and continues to mean so much to me!

And hey .. where ELSE could I become a board 'PRINCESS' than on LIWs??

I love my '04 girls!

And I am so happy that we have continued to be in touch over on LIFs as the next stages of our lives have begun!

04 brides , we rock!!!

And to the '05 and 06/future brides... good luck to you all and enjoy this beautiful time in your lives!!

Edited to add: BIG THANK YOU to Ron and Liz for creating such a fabulous website and really giving so much of yourselves to us all .. without you, there would be NO boards at all and for that we all thank you very very much
