Is it bad to wear a BM dress to a wedding???

I am seriously considering the BM dress that I wore in my friends wedding over the summer to a wedding I have in Feb...its strapless and is floor length BUT its a popular BM dress.

my sister wore3 the dress from ny wedding to a friend's wedding in oct. i'm glad she got to wear it again

i dont think its bad at all - i actually want to pick a bm dress that i know my bm would want to wear to another wedding ... at least put that money to use!! you already have the shoes and the bag, and the accessories that go with it - so why not??

and to change it up - you can buy a sash and wear it around your waist - that will look cute!

Yeah the shoes were horrible anyway....but I have seen so many people use this dress..we'll see. I'll probably end up buying something else but it is a great dress and really flattering! Thanks for all the advice

i like that dress! its plain- unless the bride is using that dress in her bridal party- you can DEFINITELY wear it again..
if i wasnt on this site i wouldnt know it was a bm dress - jmo

I would try to inquire about the colors the bride is using in Feb. If she's not using that color, I say go for it!

I would be so proud of myself if I wore it again! Just the fact that I could use a dress 2x..since I am supposed to be saving for a little wedding in July!

Go for it! And im sure your frind will be thrilled that you were able to waer it again. That dress is so pretty. Just make sure that the BMs at the wedding youre going to arent wearing that style or color

even if the bride is using those colors, who cares!!! it'll be a different dress and NO ONE WILL NOTICE!! and if they do, they have too much time on their hands!

i say absolutely do it. my aunt might wear the BM dress i wore as MOH for johnny&maur! and if it doesn't fir her, she'll be buying a watters BM dress...actually the one we were talking about a few days ago!

The BM dress from my best friend's wedding was strapless. I don't do strapless (but I did for her that day). My niece loved the dress and now she's wearing it to my wedding!!

I don't think there is anything wrong with that -I think your friend would like the fact that you got to use the dress again.

Now that most BM dresses look like gowns and not the poofy 80's dresses I think a lot of women are wearing their BM dresses to other events.

I myself have done it twice already (two different dresses). No one knew they were BM dresses, and I got tons of compliments for not wearing a black dress like everyone else.
