Question: Okay, lame question, but since is was New Year's Eve....What did you do last night? Was it what you expected or was it not as great as you thought it was going to be?

went out to dinner and went on a carriage ride in Cape May, NJ. Then FSIL's sister got food poisoning from dinner and we spent the whole night watching after him....it was bad

had a nice dinner out and then stayed in watching netflix movies... my grandfather clock was 10 minutes behind for some reason and we completely missed the ball dropping! so we stayed up until 2 am watching the TAPED espn coverage of the ball dropping so we could pretend we were ringing in the new year correctly!

Tried to go out to dinner but FI got to my house late. Ended up at KFC brought chicken and watched the ball drop. After that went to sleep since I had to go to work at 7am.

Went to VA for a friends get together. It was fun. We were playing Spades and didnt even recognize that the ball dropped. FH and I had a good time though.

Had some people over, made a bunch of food, drank wine and played some board games. We actually had a really good time. Then at 11:30 we went to this party arond the block where it's tradition for all the guys to strip to their underwear at midnight and run around the streets shooting fireworks and champagne at each other - while all the girls watch and shake their heads.
