Need Advice ladies-Big Time-Update
This is a touchy subject. Before the holidays my boss let me know that she had a gift for me but left the card at home and felt really bad about it. We knew we weren't going to see each other for a week and I told her no problem and thanks and I would see her in the New Year.
So here I am back at work. I was out sick yesterday so this is my first full day back. No card as of yet. We did catch up already even though she's been in meetings most of the day.
The ? is, do I say something (my first instinct is absolutely not) She is a very good manager and a fabulous boss so I don't really think she will "forget" to give it to me for long. Would you say something? If so, when?

She definitely did. I remind her of everything at work and personally..I'm her assistant and look after her. This is one area that I'm just going to have to stay away from.

Probably, she was so embarrased that she left it at home before. Of course I acted very non-chalantly. Of course you can give it to me after the new year...blah, blah..

aww I guess the best thing to do is not to say anything, but you want your gift, as you should. Maybe when things calm down in your office when she;s around say somthing like o-wow I'm still getting christmas/channuckaha cards
