DUET vs. BLISS PRODUCTIONS??

So as I just posted, we booked w/Duet for photography. But I wanted to do a little more research before I booked them for videography. Does anyone have any comments on Duet's videos and Bliss' videos? Or any other videographer? Should I just go w/Duet for video too?

Re: DUET vs. BLISS PRODUCTIONS??

I felt much better having 2 different companies. This way if 2 turned out to be a bad deal, it didn't affect both photo and video.

Re: DUET vs. BLISS PRODUCTIONS??

Overall I like Bliss' video better. When I saw Duets I felt like the music and the video didn't go together.

Re: DUET vs. BLISS PRODUCTIONS??

I didn't look at Duet, but I used Bliss for our video and they were fantastic! Jerry was wonderful to work with and the video ended up exactly the way we wanted - not cheesy at all.

I can only speak for Bliss, I knew I wanted to use them before I was even engaged. Jerry's work is amazing!
He works with all companies, so don't be swayed into staying with the same company because you think they will be able to work better together.......

I just hired Bliss for my videos and I already am using a separate photographer that I love!

A good photographer/videographer can work with anyone

Re: DUET vs. BLISS PRODUCTIONS??

Yeah, I can't say enough things about Bliss! They rock! I haven't gotten my video back yet, but it's my fault because I have to give Jerry our pictures and songs...but every single ENTIRE video we saw of other couples made us feel so right about our choice. This is crucial, when deciding video ask to see the final product that they give couples, not the demo...that's the only way to make an informed decision because a demo is a best of but the 'final' is what you would get. Bliss videos are about 1 hour 15 minutes to 1 hour and a half (mine will be the latter, as per my contract) and it's amazing how they capture everythign and out it together. Jerry is an artist!
