How much for photos?

How much do engagement photos usually cost? What do you pay for photographer for wedding? Just trying to get an idea.

It all depends on what you're looking for.

My package (engagement & wedding) photos & videos- coming out to $5k.

We're paying $1,350 for our photojournalistic photographer - Marianela Vera (www.nellavera.com)

We paid $250 for our E.Pics w/her - included over 250 proofs (film) in an album.

Your e-pics were great too Christine- what type of album does this include? I have a BM that is spending a little over 2,000 and they will only take 150 pics at the wedding! I'm trying to get her to go with someone else!

Same for us- We hired two photographers for the day and one assistant. One to take more cnadids and the other to take the more traditional shots.

OUCH...my photo/video/engagement came to $9200...total with taxes! Franklin Sq Photog!

only 150?
at my sisters wedding, her photographer (which is mine as well) took over 800 pics.

Iam only pay 1250, however that vendor is my least favorite. we are also looking for a freelancer to do some extra shots!

Yeah, my photog took at least 70 e-pics and it was cut a little short b/c it was cold out! My studio isn't the best price but isn't the highest and i loved my photographer's sample album- 4,100 for 2 parent albums (18 pics) and a 12x12 traditional mount album with 70 pictures. They include all effects and a few loose photos and 100 photo thank yous. E-pics are free unless they are off site (300 then).

My BM went to Celebrity Wedding services- they are an all-in-one place and she booked without knowing much about wedding stuff. I hadn't found LIW at that time and couldn't advise her better. Her photography worries me! I want her to look at Duet's photo only package and 12th night (tho I haven't seen them myself)

we are paying 5900 for vidoe and photo and the engagement pics are included in that package along with an abundance of other stuff including 2 photographers and the videographer
