bridesmaid dresses? ideas anyone?

i am getting married in august and i haven't picked out the bridesmaid dresses yet... am i in trouble? we went to a few stores but i've seen anything that i really liked. my dress is really, really simple, basically a silk sheath so the girls' dress has to be simple...but elegant...any thoughts? thanks!

I just put in my order on Friday for my BM dresses and I'm getting married in the beginning of June. I was nervous that I was so late but my salon said that they will be in on time. You will be fine.

Who is the designer of your dresses?

They usually take about 4 months to come in, and then you need time to alter them. 6 months ahead of time is a good goal. I got many ideas from bridesave.com and houseofbrides.com. This way I was able to narrow ideas down.

I'm not sure what your dress looks like...but my bm's dresses are pretty simple and elegant. I got them from JCrew online. They were on sale and my girls got them in 1 week

I cut it really close to getting the BM dresses. I just booked Saturday from gownfind, Bill Levkoff dresses.

She assured me they are arriving on time (end of March). I have a few weeks to alter them. You are fine right now depending on which designers you like. Some designers take a longer time. Just don't keep delaying if you have a chance. It was a pain in the a$$ to get my BMs fitted.

Look online on the designers sites and write down style numbers and then go into a few bridal shops and see what they have to offer and what their prices are....

Ttrust me I know this is an ordeal..I have been going through it for a while now and finally found something yesterday!

The one that my BM will be wearing is pic #1...then there are a few others that I loved
