alternative to real rose petals

FH and I met with our priest this past Saturday to book our Church and he told us that we aren't allowed to give our guests the fresh rose petals to throw after the ceremony becuase they're too slippery. He told us that dried petals are allowed. Do u girls have any idea where I would find those in bulk? If any of u are having this problem with your Church as well, what are u giving your guests to throw? He mentioned bubbles but I'm not too crazy about that idea....any suggestions?
