Re: SLEEPING PROBLEMS

Do you nap during the day because that may be why you can't sleep at night

I agree. It can also be the fact that your working alot of hours, and know that it will soon be time to get up. Sometimes are bodies are programed to know that it's almost time to get up, and won't allow us to go back to sleep, and tha's how you loose out

Re: SLEEPING PROBLEMS

I will try stopping the caffeine.

FH likes me in bed when he goes. And he doesn't like the t.v. on. he usually makes me shut it off.

Re: SLEEPING PROBLEMS

try listening to music. That helps me - something soothing. Sometimes even classical music helps! If you listen through headphones, maybe it won't bother your FH.

Re: SLEEPING PROBLEMS

I always feel sleepy after a bath or shower at night. Maybe you could invite FH to take one with you.

Whatever you do, don't drink. You will have a restless night.

Re: SLEEPING PROBLEMS

I went through the same thing, you can try melatonin.. its a natural way to lull yourself to sleep... take 1-- 3 mg pill before you go to bed (you find them in the vitamin aisle) (do NOT take any more then 1).. within an hour (some times less/more depending on what your bodies used to).. you'll be asleep like a baby.. and yes def. cut out caffine after 3 or 4 pm..

If you're not ready to go to sleep, then don't get into bed. That's a sure way to have yourself tossing and turning all night. I'm sure your FH would understand and could deal with not having you in bed when he goes to sleep if it would mean you could get a better night's sleep. It's really important to get enough sleep - if affects so much of your life - your health, your mood, your productivity during the day, and on and on.

I could try reading if I go down stairs. I wish I could sleep. I have no energy to work today. I am just guiding by. Hoping for 5:00 to come.

Re: SLEEPING PROBLEMS

Take melatonin see if it helps. It's not narcotic and your body produces it anyway, any drugstore/supermarket should have it.

Re: SLEEPING PROBLEMS

I agree that it is stress. When I go to bed I have a million things on my mind so I can't fall aslepp. You have to just completly black out everything and stop thinking and you will fall aslepp within minutes!
