Anniversary weekend was awesome!

Saturday night we went over to the Westbury Manor for dinner. They ran out of Lobster as the main course so I ended up having the Lobster Cocktail and the New Zealand Lamb Chops instead ... DIVINE!

I was so disappointed in our cake. I had it double wrapped in heavy duty tin foil then placed in a zip lock storage container in my freezer for the entire year!
The whip cream tasted really funny ... the inside of the cake wasn't too bad, but we only took a few bites each and threw it out.


Sunday was such a beautiful day so we headed to the Bronx Zoo (reliving the safari?! LOL) ... It was cool and crisp out but the sun was shining and there was plenty to see. The park was pretty empty, so we took our time and walked around for a few hours. Many animals were already away for the season (especially the African ones) but we did get to see Lion, giraffe and baboon, which was cool.
