MOB dresses for petite moms

My mom is very petite (92 lbs and about 4'11') she's having a tough time finding a dress. Many of them just overpower her...some probably even weighed more than she did. Anyone have any suggestions? For girls with similar MOB's or FMIL's what did they choose?

My FMIL choose an A-line dress with a beaded short jacket/sweater that goes over it. We bought it this past weekend at Lord & Taylor - clearance rack - HUGE discount!!!

FMIL is about 4'11', and a little heavier than 92 lbs, but doesn't really look it.

I am glad that you posted this...my mom is petite too...she is 5'1

You might even check out Nordstrom, the store AND online. They have a (usually really nice) petite dress department AND for those with heavier petite moms, a Women's Petite. I know the later doesn't apply in your case, but its an FYI for some others. Also the online shop and store do often have different merchandise, but you can return online orders at the store. HTHs!

My FMIL is like that too. She went with a bridesmaids dress instead.

My mom is also petite and did not want a 'Mom' dress. She found the perfect dress at Saks and then found it for less at Bloomies! It is Sue Wong and she got it in Champagne
