Strapless dress...busty chest...what kind of bra?

What do you think girls---> my dress is strapless, and my cups runneth over.

I live/work in the city and went to macys bridal on sunday and didnt find anything that made me feel 'secure.'

The last thing i want, is to look like Jessica Rabbit on my wedding day.....any advice or tips?

my gown is a corste so I really feel secure in it or Id have the same problem. I would see what your dress shop recommends

Maybe you can get cups sewn into the dress??? I don't know.
That is what I am going to try to do, but I am not busty. I am sure you will figure something out.

thanks...one alteration that's being made, is raising the front, so there's no spillage...but when i originally tried the dress on in macy's, they set me up with a crazy tight corset.

my dress is corset back - i'm going braless - it's pretty secure. a well-endowed friend of mine did it too and she was fine. if your dress is not corset back, could you wear a longline bra or corset underneath. there are a few great lingerie shops on LI that i've heard of - maybe georgette's if i remember correctly. haven't been but have only heard good things.

Definitely get a long line bra with a little boning. I have the same issue. I have a great long line by Goddess...I'm going to order a new one to wear for the wedding.

me too, busty, NO bra for me, have bridal shop put cups in my dress, also corset back

I am going to Blums this weekend, I heard good things about the goddess bra...so my fingers are crossed, I have to keep these bad girls in check!!

You need to go to undergarmet store. They have better selection and can alter them for you.

I would suggest getting it before yur fittings.

Hi, I am in the same boat. I wouldn't get cups in the gown because it will make you look even bigger. I am looking into getting a corset that will suck the cousins in real good. Good luck, FM if you found a place.

I have a miraculous strapless bra. I'm a D, and it makes me look smaller and natural. Also, when I wear it there is no cleavage. I bought it at a lingerie store on Middle Neck Rd. in Great Neck. It has 'bones' in it. Basically hard long pieces that keep the cups secure. It was only 40 dollars or so.

I am not super busty, but I've got boobs and I HATE HATE HATE strapless bras. However, at Blums, try the Wacoal convertible. It is the BEST strapless bra I have EVER worn. It doesn't feel like your boobs are just 'sitting in cups'. It has great support, it's comfortable and I can wear it ALL day long.
