I've never been there my sister has attended a few parties there and said the food was great. I think that's where they'll have my shower
. Why dont you ask for a food tasting before making any decisions.

Re: Milleridge Inn Food - please give me your comments
I've asked about tasting before signing - I'm gambling that my date will be taken if I wait too long but the BM is trying to work with me on that. I just wanted to get an idea for their reputation - I would hate for it to be that their food was bad (that's why I had to ask).

Re: Milleridge Inn Food - please give me your comments
honestly b/c you asked for honesty, I'm not a food conisor, neith is FH his parents are, we loved George washington Manor (owned by same people so they use the same quality of food, (I've seen SYSCO delivering there) , b/c FIl's think the food is medeoker we didn't book, but most people love their food!!!I'm a vegertarian that doesn't eat poultry or seafood, so I can't judge

I went for a tasting and liked the food. I have since been to the restaurant once and we had no problems eating everything we got!

Re: Milleridge Inn Food - please give me your comments
The BM told me that the chef for the restaurant is different - not the same guy...so that could explain the difference.

Did you get a tasting before you signed the K? How did you get them to allow you to do that? I have to leave down some money in order to get a tasting before I sign...

The food was very good in my opinion. It is fairly traditional and somewhat plain, but good all the same. We enjoyed it, and most of our guests said they were happy with it also. The cake was delicious! We ate that after we were married 3 months--couldn't wait!

I can't see how a catering hall could make you leave money without tasting the food. I wouldn't book anything w/o a tasting, JMHO.Also, the Milleridge is very good.
