Is the chocolate fountain brought out before or after the cake cutting? Or during?

It is set up as you do your cake cutting. Once that is done they will announce that it is open. I just had one on Sunday.

I think it is done after the cake. You don't want people to be distracted/over by the fountain/eating while you two are cutting the cake.

Ours was after...set up before, cake cutting and then it was turned on (I believe!)

I've never been to a wedding with the fountain, but I would definitely do it after the cake cutting.
