QOTD: What do you consider a fashion faux pas?

I saw something like this on the ’06 board yesterday and thought it would be interesting to get the ‘05ers point of view.

IMO, wearing a white bra underneath a black knit top is a fashion don’t. you can see it.

I'm in the minority on this one maybe but I don't like stockings with open-toe shoes. Never have...never will!

I went to the mall yesterday and I am so tired of these CHILDREN wearing belly shirts and jeans so tight that they look painted on!

Jeans without a belt if you have your shirt tucked in

I used to LOVE tapered pants

I remember in the 80's they were SO hot! everyone had them. I had a few pairs that were SO tapered on the ankle, that I could barely get my foot through them when I got dressed!

Yes, I had many a pair of tapered pants, and Bublle Gum Pants, we used to call them. Those really stretchy ribbed jeans.

But scrunchies make life so easy!!!!! Ok, so they are best for around the house, but bring back the scrunchie!!!

And tapered pants, well, they are not as bad as stirrups!!!

What I see is the biggest fashion fauz pas, being a total copy cat. Did you ever see one friend buy something, and suddenly her whole posse has to have it? And it never looks as good as it did not the first person!!!!

i cannot stand ..

white stockings (this does not pertain to nurses)

ppl who gel their curls. the hardened curls is not a good look.

clear handbags. please conceal what you have in your pocketbook.

bomber jackets. the look was in for one week back in the early 90's.

short, short, short, short, short, short skirts. especially on young girls.

hate seeing women's fat hang over their tight hip hugging jeans. it's not sexy. please wear clothes that fits.

foundation makeup that does not match the actual skin color. that's just embarassing.

and what one woman mentioned from above that stuck in my mind. SCRUNCHIES. aiyah! get rid of em.

How about how teenage girls where their hair all sloppy in ponytail to side. It looks so dumb - I know we used to wear side ponytails, but at least they looked neat. And I am in total agreement about the kids that wear skin tight jeans/pants & short shirts - not only do they look trashy, but it doesn't usually look good - makes them look bigger then they really are.

Ugh, I HATE that!!...Whats the point??...I just don't get it. Most of them go to school looking like that. How can a parent allow their child to go to school in PJ's??

my baby brother used to do this... I would ask him if his butt was at his knees!
