What about the Knights of Pythias? There is one on Bell Blvd in Bayside.

Have you tried any of the KNights of Columbus...my aunt and uncle have had parties at one in College pt or Whitestone..it was pretty big

There is the Charisma Ballroom in Kew Gardens, Queens. I read on another webiste that they rent their space with or without catering. The website is not quite finished yet, but you can see some pictures.Charisma Ballroom I have personally never been there, but I thought it might be nice for a child's birthday party or shower.
