NWR- NYC Teachers

Hi Ladies

Both FH and I are on our last semester undergrad -and wanted a job hopefully teaching in September at a public school.
Can anyone please enlighten me with the whole process, Im new at this and have no clue where to start or look to apply! Thanks so much for any advice and/or help!

stay out of region 5! We are notoriously known for our insane administrators!! :)


Go to insideschools.org- its the 'unauthorized' guide to NYC schools, it will help you see which schools are located where and contact info.

Just a tip- don't go by the school report card, but as I noticed this year- they dont report a majority of incidents that happen for fear of it making the school 'look bad'

Also the NYCboe.net to upload your resume. I also visited a bunch of schools during the summer and left my resume- that is how I got the job.
