proofs

what is a decent amount of pictures the photographer should take. I went to see one and he said he takes about 400, is that the average?

hmm i'm not sure, my photographer is taking an unlimited amount of pics and i will have about 1100-1200 proofs BUT i'm paying a lot b/c the photos were very important to me and my FH... we got the biggest package he had so i'm really not sure since i dont know what package you are getting.
the only thing you could do is to meet with a few other photographers and ask them, if you are getting more than 2 places with more proofs than i would say its a little low. otherwise, take it from there. its good to get other prices anyway.
