We don't want any black and white photography. We want traditional shots taken at our wedding, not candids. I don't need pictures of my dress hanging on a wall and the invites spread out, just standard shots. (To me, and the photographer agreed, will cut back on time and allow us to have more time with our guests, etc)

I have a list of some non-standard shots that I need to speak with my parents about and see if they feel a second photographyer should be added. I told them what the most important shots were to me. They provied me with an outline for the day and said I shouldn't miss the cocktail hour (except maybe 15-20 minutes depending on how long people take to get themselves in order)Mike told us a second one starts at $800 and goes up depending upon how much time we need him for and for what.

I met with the DJ company last night! We had a 6:30pm appointment, so we arrived there at 6:20pm at the same time as the 6:00pm appointment showed up. Who shows up to their vendor nearly 20 minutes late?! Due to this we were unable to meet with an actual DJ, whom we never met b/c the showcase we attended was under the old DJ company, so I got to meet the sister of the brother's who run the company! She kept pushing us to have an MC - who here is having an MC? I would really like to know!!! I just didn't like the fact that we were pushed aside b/c some other couple couldn't get their time and appointments straight! GGRR!!!

I haven't met with them yet, but based on the showcase if you guests are the type to just get up and dance I don't think an MC is nessessary, On the other hand if they don't the MC at the showcase was excellent and we all had a lot of fun with him. My family are big on dancing, you can't get them to sit for dinner so I doubt I will get the MC, but FI might want it so I'll let you know our decision.

Anything to make money, but that just leaves a bad taste in your mouth, less likly to get referals. Oh well they'll lose

We invited 245 people and we have 38 yes already and it hasn't even been a week.

We decided to have the MC. I think they liven up the party. I will let you all know, b/c you will then have plenty of time to decide if it is necessary.......

You rock!!! I probably won't go with it knowing how my family is and I'd rather spend the extra money on getting a 2nd photo guy!

In btw - I didn't think Brentwood CC could hold that many guests!

I'm having my ceremony outside too. It is going to be beautiful. I can't wait!! Don't forget to ask on Saturday if they decorate the bride and grooms chair at all, with chair covers, etc..Have fun. Keep us posted.

Make things go smoothly - go to the web site and find the invite you want, write down the code and print it out to show them.

Also, decide on the exact wording you want for the invite and the reception card.

Have the address of the Church!!!!!!!! I forgot this and we went to the Diocese web site to get the correct address.

Also, review the food dishes - you'll need to know what you want and don't!
