recommend your invite shop, please!!!

I'd prefer not to do the invite thing online, so I've been looking at a few stores. I had no idea invites were so expensive!!!!

Please post your suggestions for reasonabley priced shops with good choices.

(and if you could post your invite, that would be great too.)

Noteworthy in Woodbury Commons. I bought C'est Papier invitations from them.

Bloomingdale's in NYC and Florida! They have a special. If you register 3 items, you get 15% off and free machine simulated calligraphy for all the addresses you submit. Calligraphy alone can cost $2/card.

Take it from me - do NOT order online - they look very different in real life. I got my invites from lion in the sun - in huntington - they are awesome there and SO patient. FM me if interested!

ETA: They have almost all of the invites that are online, so its a good opportunity to see them without paying to order samples, which is a HUGE rip off!!!

We are getting ours online through not from a box. I got samples before I ordered anything so I could see what they looked like in person, because as someone said above, colors and things do not look the same online as they do when they are right in front of you.

We also looked at Lion in the Sun in Huntington and I found them to be very helpful. They were expensive there, though. I probably saved about $200 getting them online, and got a much nicer invitaion.

We used Lion in the Sun as well and had a wonderful experience. They were incredibly helpful and were able to help find us an invite we loved that was very different from all the other wedding invites I had ever received.
