Had a Car Accident Today

So if anyone was driving West bound on the Southern State this morning, that was me who hydroplaned through a puddle, and then smacked my car against a cement guard rail.

The car has some major scraping on the driver's side, and needed a new tire...my inspection was aslo up, and they told me all four tires were bald and I need new break pads. Hmmm...maybe that is why I couldn't steer through a 1' puddle. I know things could have been so much worse, but I'm pretty banged up and pretty bummed about the $500 less the wedding account became today.

Sorry to hear that, thankful you aren't seriously hurt. My FH and I maxed out our wedding fund fixing my car and I had to lease a new car now because I couldn't afford to buy one. Cheer up, things will get better.

Sorry you had an accident!!! I did the same thing last November, hydroplaned into another car in the pouring rain. Turns out the tires were bald also.

But the important thing is you're okay!!

Oh no!!!!!!

So sorry to hear that!!!

Glad you weren't seriously injured tho, and that you didn't hit anyone!!

I did that a few years back with my 1st car, and I wasn't even in the area. Just speeding along and hydroplaned into a guardrail. It was so scary, the whole body of the car was misaligned.

Be sure to get plenty of rest tonight and take it real easy.

I know that must stink, but you are okay and that is the most important thing. You'll be back to planning the wedding with smiles...you'll feel better after a night of sleep.
