Videographer

Hey Gals,
I wanted to know your opinion on videographers.

Is everyone having one?

or in the alternative - is anyone not having one?

FI and I didn't really think we wanted one at all but then a few of our married friends recommended we do it...


let me know your thoughts/opinions/suggestions!

Definitely having one! Everyone said we should/those who didn't regretted it. It will be nice to look at it later on.

I definitely think you should get a videographer. The memories from the video will be priceless. Check out Wild Rose. They are vendors on here and they do amazing work.

There was a post on this a while ago on BHB and alot of previous brides all regretted not having a videographer-

I thought is was a waste of money originally b/c who is going to sit thru the whole video? But to be honest-we have changed our minds and are definitely having one. We dont want anything special.......just video it and give it to me.

I think you should have one, It will bring back memories and you can show it to your kids one day. (which would be funny to them) Try to get a small package if you are on a budget. But I think you should do it.

we are having one.....but it's up to you. My friend didn't have one and she regrets it now. You can always have a guest tape some of the wedding, if you want to save money. But I really do recommend a videographer. Timeless Treasures in Smithtown has resonable packages.

I def suggest having a video taken. And even though i'm using someone else, for just video i'd also suggest timeless treasures because they are very affordable

My sister just paid for ours as a Christmas present.
She didn't have one, so she wanted to make sure we had one.

I am having one, it came with my photography package from Duet

I didn't want one, but FI did. We went with Rambling Rose Video. They had reasonable prices and great work.

we are having one, we wanted to be able to see it since it goes by so fast instead of just looking at photos...we got it with our package from duet
