Re: No Flower Girl =(
I WISH I had a flower girl... and the sad thing is, I really don't think I can include my GORGEOUS Godchild/Nephew in our wedding because my FH has three nephews of his own. They're not as tame as my little angel, so I can't even imagine all of them walking down the aisle! So... for now anyway... no kids at all in my bridal party, or at my wedding!

Re: No Flower Girl =(
Sweetheart, I got married at 41, okay? Cheer up! I had no flower girl and no ring bearer, and people still talk about how beautiful my wedding was. Not all weddings have flower girls and/or ring bearers and they still are beautiful, elegant and touching. It's okay.

I'm very happy that I don't have any kids in my BP. I'm sure that there are plenty of cute ones out there, but the thought of having kids at the wedding is not a pretty one.

Re: No Flower Girl =(
We didn't have a flower girl or ring bearer. We didn't have any close family members or friends with young kids. We didn't want random kids to be in our wedding just so we could have a flower girl and ring bearer. I don't think it matters if you have one or not.

I don't have one either.
I am bummed out about it, I guess I could always hire a child actor for the day if I get desperate.

Amen ladies!!! I wanted no children at my wedding and was relieved that none of my family had little ones to push on me.

Re: No Flower Girl =(
you can borrow my little cousin if you want
LOL she'll be 4 in a couple weeks... and at my wedding in june, she was the perfect flower girl
she smiled for all the pics- walked down the aisle wonderfully- sat quiet during the ceremony, and danced her heart out at the reception
really though, i would almost be thankful if i were you- my friend had 5 little ones under 5 years old in her wedding party- i was a BM, and it was rediculus trying to take the group pics.... so look at it as a nice break for you and the rest of your wedding party.

I don't have a ring bearer. I am debating on asking my MOH if we should use her son, since she is bringing him to the wedding anyway. He's going to be 2.

Re: No Flower Girl =(
As of now I don't have one. My FSIL is pregnant and is due in April so I will have her baby just run down the ailse. He/She will only be 1 year and 3 months so too young to really be a flowergirl or pillow boy so I'm in the same boat. It's okay though.

Re: No Flower Girl =(
We're not having a flower girl or ring bearer...it would have been impossible to choose between the children on FH's side and on my side and since we decided no children at the wedding we figured it was better that we didn't have little ones in the wedding party...that way no one could useit against us 'but so and so's daughter is going' etc...I really wanted my little cousin
but didn't want the drama to start...

I have no neices/nephews and neither does my FH. We have young cousins and 2nd cousins, but they're not at the right age, so we decided an adult only theme at the reception would be nice.

Re: No Flower Girl =(
I am going to be 31 when I get married and all of my cousins etc are grown, but we are having 2 Flower girls and two rign bearers, my MOH and BM's kids!I am a HUGE kid person though, don't worry about it, having kids can be a nightmare, without them you will be able to have fun adult time!
