Sex. Is it a Do or Dont.

Figured I would ask since I posted way too much info on the 'naughty' post. I know people have very different opinions regarding this.

it's a do- do you want them to learn about it on the school bus or from you?

b/c there is always that one kid who knows everything!

My mother talked to me about EVERYTHING growing up, and i mean everything. She had me at a young age (20) so was always very open and educated me beyond belief about sex. This was great, because i could always go to her for ANYTHING...was never embarassed to talk to her about anything or ask her anything, and I will be doing the same when I have children. I want my children to have someone to go to about these topics, just like i did. otherwise, you never know what kind of information they will be receiving!

I agree. Kids have access to so much information however a lot of it is false. I would rather foster an open and honest relationship with my children where they are educated about it. Im a teacher, I hear a lot of CRAZY things coming out of the students mouth. As early as second grade! Its just not practical to keep them sheltered.

A definite 'do'...I want my kids to be comfortable to talk to me and FH about everything. I'd much rather them hear all about it from us!
