Groomsman Gifts

Anybody give this any thought yet?

I am having my brother as my best man, my best friend, her cousin and her brother as the other groomsman.

My brother and best freind are easy because I know their personalities are much like my own. Her cousin and brother are not the same (not even really close).

I have plenty of time to decide but I am not sure if I should go with simuliar gifts for everybody or different. I am not even sure what would be a 'good gift.'

Re: Groomsman Gifts

The watch is the most common gift. All of the wedding party's I have been in I always got a watch. For my party I was thinking about doing something else, maybe a gold chain or an engraved wrist chain. I am not sure yet but it would be nice to give them something that they can wear the day of the wedding.

Re: Groomsman Gifts

I've gotten a money clip and cufflinks. But those were things I've had before and they knew I would use.

I was in a party where everyone got the same thing except the best man and another party where everyone got different things...

I guess the only common thing was the best man got something different and a little more expensive.

Re: Groomsman Gifts

I personally am going to get each of my men different gifts that fit their lifestyles and or character. I feel it warrants a sentiment that I have a Brotherly and or friendship connection to each of them . But that's just me.

Re: Groomsman Gifts

Sorry to butt in but Things Remembered has some great gift ideas - cuff links, money clips, watches, etc. I posted a 20% off coupon code on 'brides helping brides' last week so do a search for 'things remembered coupon' and it should come up. If not, FM me!
Good luck!

Re: Groomsman Gifts

I was thinking about doing the watch thing, but one of my groomsmen just got a watch a month ago for being the godfather of a mutual's friends baby. So now I have no clue what I will be getting them...

Re: Groomsman Gifts

Sorry to jump onto the boys board but a friend of FH and I was just a groomsman and received what i think are really cool gifts. The groom signed him up for 6 months to both the Beer of the Month Club and the Wine of the Month club along with an Omaha Steak gift certificate.
