UUUGGHHH! Why can't I just want to do things the easy way!

I annoy the crap out of myself sometimes. I have been trying to find the right damn boxes for my placecard favors forever....and every time I think I find something, there's an issue. why can't I K.I.S.S. and just use the stupid placecards the hall provides...no skin off my back right....but NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO....something in me just can't do that...I need to do something 'special'

Just Kidding...

As brides we start to obsess over these things b/c we know we want everything to be perfect and matchy-matchy....it helps to just step back and really let reality kick you in the arse and say 'I'm marrying the person I want to spend the rest of my life with, eff the nitty-gritty details b/c no one will notice!'

I wracked my brain over how I'd do the place cards, until my sister suggested that we make the favors the place cards. We're doing cd's, and the labels will all be different table names.

Sort of killing 2 birds w/one stone!

BTW....No birds were hurt during this idea.

Jess- i think those placecards are nice...I think its an extra headache to try and get new ones...I mean how much different will they really be? They'll maybe have a different design on them, other than the WM logo...think about it...Im sure you can use that energy elsewhere

Jess, do not stress, either you will find something perfect or you won't. It's not a major issue either way. No one is going to have a better or worse time because of some boxes.

When I stress over little things like this, I have to remember what my dad said to me. 'Will it really matter 3 years from now? Will it prevent you from getting married if the boxes don't match, or if there aren't rose petals everywhere?' Everytime I remember that in the grand scheme of things it doesn't matter, then I tend to stress less about it.
