marriage license question - if you didn't change your last name
When DH and I went, I didn't change my last name - yet it was mailed to us "Mr. & Mrs. DH first name - DH last name."
Did this happen to other brides who didn't change their last name?

Re: marriage license question
Not to me, but ours was addressed to Mr. and Mrs. Michelle MadienName...I almost had a heart attack, but the certificate itself was correct.

Whoa! The certificate itself is correct - I guess the way they address it really doesn't matter.
Thank you!

Re: marriage license question - if you didn't change your last name
I hyphenated my name, and the certificate reflects that, but the outer envelope was addressed to Mr. and Mrs. Husband'sName. I would guess that that's their default setting. As long as the certificate is correct, I wouldn't worry about it.

YES. I didn't change my name on the license but then added DH's last name to mine without a hyphen (not an option in NY) but the license came that way on the envelope.
