I am having the same problem - finding inexpensive FG dresses.

I heard around Easter time to check out the department stores. Also, tri county flea market & possibly Estelles.

There is a GREAT store called Ragamuffin (I love that name) it is all the way out in St. James but this is where I found my girls dresses...my two Jr's and my flowergirl

We bought ours online through ebay - they were $9.99.

The seller also has their own website though with a lot more of a selection, but the prices for the same dresses are three times the price (still under $50)

Love raggamuffins as someone mentioned, but did not wind up getting it there...we got FGs dress at Helens in Commack , where we got the bridesmaid dresses

Raggamuffins is a good place to look. The Raggamuffins I have been to is in Huntington Village not St. James.
