How long to people stay at the church after the ceremony?

I had planned on doing a mass at 3pm and then taking pictures before my 6:30 cocktail hour, but I'm not sure I will have time to make it to some of my ch. How long do you usually linger at the church after the ceremony? How long does it take to take pictures? The place we are taking pictures at is five minutes from the ceremony and the reception location. I sort of had a sleepless night about this because I'm thinking I should change to a ceremony and not a mass or change the time of the mass to earlier. I picked thelatest mass because I didnt want my guests to have to wait too long between the ceremony and the CH (since most are not from the area), but I didnt think about what I would need to take pictures and how I wanted to go to the ch.

askyour photogrpaher and videographer....if they are taking pics of your and your fmaily at the church...they will have a better estimate of the time

I have the exact schedule...we are having a recieving line BUT just parents and us...the BP will help move people along after visiting the recieving line....we aren;t allowed to have a petal toss so we will take some pics outside the church and be off...hopefully!
