I didn't know how to 'dress-up' the large brandy glass, but I figured a simple bow would do. What ya think??

p.s. This is instead of a sign-in board or guestbook...

I like, where did you get the glass? And I know this is a stupid question, but why is it called a wish bowl? I think it's more like an advice bowl....

What are you going to do? Put all the 'Wishes' is a book at the end? Will people write there names on the 'wishes'?

Is the pad a special pad? Where did you get the pad? Do you have a close up pic of the pad?

- It's probably smarter to call it an 'advice bowl' - so you've got a point there. I guess it's called a 'wish bowl' b/c people can put their 'best wishes' in there, instead of putting it in a guestbook or on a sign-in board.

- I bought the glass for like $3.99 - $4.99 at Walmart in Monticello. I'm sure you can find it at Michael's or Target.

- We plan on putting them in a scrap-book/photo album in the end. Probably have the 'wishes' flushed in an album and then our photos from the wedding on top.

- Nope, no special pad, most people use blank cardstock. I had that pad from a giftset a friend gave me. Here's an upclose pic of it.

i love the idea and set up! i read the poem, its cute. but the line 'for all the greatest gift of all' doesn't make sense to me. shouldn't it be 'for us the greatest gift of all'? ~lacey

Yes, did it in MS Word - took two minutes! The frame is from Ikea, and I spray-painted it gold!

i am using a wish bowl too, different type of vase, but something similar. I was wonder what to use for cards - is that a note pad or actual card stock??
