Duet Already Booked

I'm so bummed, Duet is already booked for our date! I looked at Fine Art. I loved them, but they were so expensive. I'm on a tight budget. I have an appt with 12th Night next week. Any other suggestions

Sorry to hear that pumpking! I actually booked with them just this weekend. They have one team available for our date but when I went to talk pricing with them, they are getting pretty pricey - I was quoted alittle over 5k for video and photography with just 1 wedding album.

One reason people like them is because they have great prices but if they get more expensive it's worth it to look elsewhere.

And they are getting more expensive every year because so many LIW girls are using them. :P How ironic is that?

So maybe you can find a better price elsewhere for the same quality. :)

Look around, there are alot of good photographers out there other then Duet. I am not saying that they don't do good work, but there are other places to look. Start doing research and them go start making appointments.

there are SO many other places!!!

try silverfox and gary leli. they both do amazing work and their prices are even better than duets for what you get.

and the quality of both is AMAZING.

How about Imagine or Photos of the Heart? I think Spelman also is pretty good. HTH

Video Express in East Meadow quoted me $3100 for photography AND video...and his work was GOOD (especially the video!)

I have used Patken and so did a co-worker of mine.

We both have had so many people telling us that they have never seen more beautiful wedding pictures before.

Also, very important, I still have people, 7 months later telling me how amazing they were (We had them for photography and video)- they were funny, kind and just wonderful to all of the guests.

People are still asking me for their information for personal photography as well as wedding.

12th night has great work and good prices. You should also check out Something in Blue - I didn't know of them when I was looking, but I've seen some girls post their work, and they are also great. Good luck!

I don't recommend them. They were great upto and including our wedding day. Their service was horrible after our wedding day. Customer service is lacking.

In terms of video, I HIGHLY recommend Rambling Rose Video.

Ditto on Christina Bohn - I was going to book her, but she decided not to work on my date after I met with her - which totally sucked - but her work is amazing.
