I don't remember the cost difference-- but I chose a Sunday because they required a much higher minimum # of people for the Saturday-- There was no way I was going to guarantee 70 more people than I already did!

I'm a Sunday too.. Couldnt make the Saturday night minimums... Fridays were all booked and i didnt want a day wedding...So as it turns out we picked the month we got engaged in and the day (5th) we went on our first date!! totally not planned but it worked out that way!!

I think it's a great idea! I'm actually getting married on the 4th of July! It's a Wednesday, it's cheaper and there will be fire works!

im doing a sunday...but to get the best of both worlds we booked the entire day and started the ceremony at 2pm, the cocktail at 3, reception from 4-9, this way for ppl traveling, its not over too late, but still late enough to have an excuse to get really drunk!! most ppl that are close to me are taking the next day off and staying at the hotel with us anyways!

im getting married on a sunday for several reasons.
1. duhh it was WAY cheaper - like over $60 a head cheaper at my hall
2. were jewish and although we are not religious several family members are so we either had to do a saturday night or a sunday - so because of point #1 we chose sunday 
3. the grounds of my hall are gorgeous. no one would know that at night. we are having an outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour. saturday daytime wasnt an option due to point #2 - so sunday daytime it is!

i booked sunday in order to save money, because it was i think 30+ more to do a saturday and the minimum was 200 for a saturday.
Same here. The minimum is crazy!
Most of the weddings I been to have been on a Sunday, I is really not a big deal. once everyone gets there nobody knows what day it is. People are still going to drink and dance and have a great time.

I picked the same day and moved it because of the honeymoon cruise we picked. That day is just fine.

i was actually trying to get that sunday but when it was already booked, i ended up choosing saturday because about half of my family is coming from oot and even from out of the country!
