Brazilian?

If you girls don't mind me asking, does a brazilian wax REALLY hurt? Any good places anyone can recommend in the Queens area? Thanks a lot!

Re: Brazilian?

Yep, I think it really hurts, but when it's over you'll love the results! I have only gotten mine done in NYC, but one of my friends goes to Eduardo's in Bayside on Bell Blvd. across from Salon Z near 35th Ave. It looks like nothing special on the outside, but she loves it there.

Re: Brazilian?

Ooh, the thought of this makes me cringe. It hurts when I get a regular bikini wax done I can't even imagine a full brazilian. I'm sure that the results will be worth the pain though!

Re: Brazilian?

The first time I went for one, it hurt the most. As long as you dont wax in between, the hair grows in thinner and softer and it doesnt hurt as much when you get it waxed. The person who does the waxing also makes a huge difference. The lady I go to is quick and knows what she is doing. I just take 2 advils before I go.

I go to a place called Elite Day Spa... on 39th b/t 5th and 6th Ave. For the full monty it's $26... ask for ADRIANA. she's awesome and is quick. first timers, though, not painless. take an advil 30 minutes before.

Yes it hurts. Of course different people have different pain tolerances.

How is Brazilian better than regular wax? How is the 'regrowth'?

Yeah..I'd love a place in eastern LI. If anyone knows one. I am kind of embarrased to call random places to ask if they do that.

Re: Brazilian?

I LOVE GETTING BRAZILIANS!!! I love my lady...I've been going to her for years....the trick is to think that its going to be the worst pain you will EVER endure....and then when its over....you'll think that it wasn't THAT bad. thats what i did the first time. Try to strike up great conversations with your person and it goes by quick. I go to someone in Oceanside.
Good Luck...DO IT! I got ALL my girlfriends hooked!
