Feeling a little sad right now- UPDATED with sad pics below

I just realized that I waited too long to preserve my bouquet. I don't know what I was thinking... I put it in the fridge after the wedding and kept thinking that i had time. Well I now realize that I don't. I am so sad for some reason and even started to cry a little. It doesn't help that I am watching InStyle Celebrity Weddings.

To make myself feel better, I am wearing my tiara right now.

OMG sweetie LMAO...not because you're sad, but b/c I can picture you in your tiara! that is CLASSIC!

maybe George can 'recreate' one for you to preserve...if it makes you sad, it's worth the extra $$.

feel better - its not the end of the world. i am sure you have many other things that you can hold as keepsakes from the day.

and i am sure you look like a princess sitting in your pj's wearing a tiara.

I wear my tiara all the time and my mom yells at me for it contsantly!

i did the same thing. there was pearls on mine so i kept that before i threw the bouquet away

i didn't realize the timeline for preservation was so short. maybe your bok can be recreated??

John thinks I am nuts for wearing the tiara! He's been so good tonight. He told me to contact the florist and have another one made if it will make me happy. I am so thankful for him but I just feel like it's not MINE that I used on the wedding day. Since it's still in somewhat good condition I may try to go to a craft store and buy some sort of preservatio spray (if they make it?) and put it in a shadow box.

The tiara is making me feel a little better. I am not sad enough to put the dress back on... soon though!

I love that you are wearing your tiara. I think you should break out the veil too.

GO put the dress on Hollie...BTW I am in love with your tiara...I was almost temped to buy it...but I had to stop myself since my mom would have killed me

Hollie - I thought about having my floirst make up a new one so I can have it preserved, but felt the same as you, that it's not the same. My sister dried my bo-k for me. My MIL told me to us hairspray on it. I have yet to get a shadowbox, but it's displayed right now in my china cabinet.

Awwwww....I'll be like this too, i know it!
My friend had a good idea...she used to lounge in her wedding dress a few times a week LOL..
When her wedding video came, she watched it ALWAYS w/her dress on LOL

I believe you can ask your florist to spray your BOK to preserve it.

NO.... I didn't. But I still have the headpiece on. It feels nice there... and at least I am getting use out of it.

I am going to call Keepsake Floral tomorrow. If it is too late, then I am going to take it out of the fridge and try to dry it. I will spray with floral spray and then try to make my own shadow box. Let's hope it works.
