HEY GUYS!

Just wanted to pop on and say hello to you all. We are doing GREAT down in Florida. I am adjusting to work very well. I actually really really love where I am working and the girls I work with are soooo sweet.. but then again it's only been 4 days

so we shall see. The commute to work S U C K S soooo bad because we are with my inlaws until our apartment is ready. We both have to commute 66 miles EACH WAY! It took me 2 hours to get to work on Tuesday and I wanted to shoot myself. It could be worse I guess. I wish we would of known how bad the commute was going to be because then we would of looked for an apartment that had an immediate move in date. We really didnt think the commute was going to be this bad. DH is working 7:30 - 6:30 and has to commute an hour each way. I feel soo bad for him but he seems soo positive which is good. We keep telling ourselves that its temporary. The apartment won't be vacated until March so we are moving in on the 23rd. I CANT WAIT! Its a 2BR, 2B with a really nice sized living room and dining area. The closets are HUGE and so are the bathrooms.. Im not sure which one of us is more excited about getting our own bathroom LOL
There is also a utility room in the unit with a full size washer and dryer. I am really happy about that LOL The complex has 2 pools, gym, raquetball court and a clubhouse. I heard that it's in a 'college town' so I'm sure these college kids will get rowdy (hopefully it will only be on weekends)

We really like the area though and we only signed a 12 month lease, plus, we will both be commute 9 miles to work when we move in! Im sure that by the end of the lease we will have had a chance to check out all the areas and narrow it down to where we want to buy a house.

Well I just wanted to pop in and say hello. I miss you guys and I hope you are all doing well. I didnt realize I was going to type this much LOL

Thank you for posting...I've missed you and I as the time gets closer for me to leave NY I think of you more.

It's so reassuring to hear that you're doing well. And that apartment sounds kick as$! I hear you on the commute, that's something I'm not looking forward to.

That stinks about the commute, but it's only for a bit- hopefully it'll mean you'll appreciate your new apartment even more! Congrats to you both!

Diana!!! Aside from the communte, your happiness really is shining through your words! I can't wait to see pictures of your new place once you are in there and all set up! The commute will be better soon and by then you're gonna have your own bathroom too

It was fun.. not something I would do again, but we had a great time. I didnt like the idea of having to be back at a certain time. When Im on vacation I want to do what I want and when I want!
